- Price isn't propped up by a single seller about to run out
Demand
- BSR is within your category's healthy range
- Sales velocity supports your buy quantity without tanking price
- Demand is steady, not a one-week spike you'd miss
Risk
- You're ungated (or can get ungated) for the brand and category
- No IP complaint / brand-gating red flags
- Not hazmat or meltable unless you're set up for it
- Variations won't split your sales or hide the real BSR
Competition
- Buy box isn't dominated by Amazon or the brand
- Offer count won't trigger a race to the bottom
- The lead isn't already in 10,000 other carts (this is the whole game)
