The best Amazon MCP server depends on what you sell and which question you need answered. For resellers doing online or retail arbitrage, Arbitrage Stalker is the pick: it reads the competitor storefronts you track, checks up to 100 ASINs against your own account and runs profit at your buy cost. For your own Seller Central data, use Amazon's Selling Partner plugin (beta with Claude, US stores first). For PPC, the Amazon Ads MCP Server, which needs Ads API access. Developers building integrations want the SP-API dev MCP. Private label sellers who live in keyword data should look at Helium 10's MCP, after checking which plan includes it. SmartScout markets an MCP for competitive intel, and Jungle Scout's official server reportedly sits on its Cobalt enterprise tier. Most sellers will end up running two of these at once, one for sourcing and one for their own account.
Straight disclosure: I built Arbitrage Stalker, the first pick on this list. I ranked it first for one use case, resellers sourcing products, because that is the only job it was built for. For every other job on this page, a different server wins, and I say which.
How I ranked these
I ranked by use case instead of by one score. An MCP server is only as useful as the data behind it, and these seven sit on top of seven different data sets. A PPC server that is great at bids tells you nothing about whether you can list a product at a Walmart clearance price.
For each one I looked at whose data it reads, who it is built for, what you need to connect it and what it costs to run. I left out anything I could not find a first-party source for. Prices and plan gates change, so check each vendor before you buy.
The comparison table
| Server | Best for | Data it reads | What you need | Works with |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Arbitrage Stalker | Resellers, arbitrage sourcing | Tracked storefronts, your leads, your account's eligibility, buy-cost profit | Paid plan from $29/mo | Claude (web, desktop, phone), ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor |
| Amazon Selling Partner plugin | Your own Seller Central data | Listings, performance, inventory, sales | US store, beta | Amazon Quick, Claude (beta) |
| Amazon Ads MCP Server | PPC management | Campaigns, reporting, budgets, billing | Amazon Ads API access | Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, custom agents |
| Amazon SP-API dev MCP | Developers | SP-API docs, endpoints, live calls | Node 20+, SP-API credentials | Local MCP clients |
| Helium 10 MCP | Private label | Keywords, ads, rank tracking, profitability, inventory | Helium 10 plan (check which) | Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT |
| SmartScout | Competitive intel | SmartScout's market data | SmartScout account | Check vendor |

1. Arbitrage Stalker: best for resellers and arbitrage sourcing
Arbitrage Stalker answers the reseller's morning question: what did the sellers I watch add overnight, can I sell it, and what does it net at my cost? No other server on this list reads competitor storefronts you chose yourself.
The tools that matter for sourcing:
storefront_feedreturns what your tracked sellers listed since your last run, filtered by brand, category, price or rank.check_eligibilitychecks up to 100 ASINs against your own Amazon account and returns BUY, APPLY with Amazon's approval link, SKIP, BAD_ASIN or PENDING.brand_eligibilitytells you if a whole brand sits behind one approval, so you apply once instead of checking hundreds of products.calculate_profitruns through the app's own calculator with your saved prep and inbound costs. The model never does the fee math.source_radarshows the retailers the platform has seen carrying a product or brand.
Most tools are free. Credits only move on a fresh Apex Read, batch scoring of uncached ASINs (quoted before it spends) and importing products the platform has never seen. It never submits an ungating request for you.
Where it loses: it does not read your Seller Central sales, your inventory or your ads. If those are your questions, pick one of the Amazon servers below. The Arbitrage Stalker MCP page has setup for every client, and the Claude connection guide walks the clicks.
2. Amazon Selling Partner plugin: best for your own Seller Central data
Amazon announced the Selling Partner plugin at Accelerate in September 2026. It launches in Amazon Quick and in beta with Claude, US stores first, and connects your listings, real-time performance, inventory and sales analytics. It can take actions with your approval and keeps an audit trail. Amazon says connecting takes about 60 seconds with no code, and primary account holders get 12 months of Amazon Quick Plus free through December 31, 2026.
Where it loses: it reads your account, not your competitors'. Third-party analyses say it reportedly skips Ads and margin data. I wrote up how the plugin works with Claude on my other blog.
3. Amazon Ads MCP Server: best for PPC
The Amazon Ads MCP Server opened its beta on February 2, 2026 after a closed beta that started November 13, 2025. It connects Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or your own agent to Amazon Ads for campaign creation and updates, reporting, budgets, account settings and billing data.
Where it loses: you need Amazon Ads API access to connect, and it only covers advertising. Resellers who run little or no PPC can skip it.
4. Amazon SP-API dev MCP: best for developers
Amazon's SP-API team shared a local MCP on May 28, 2026, published on npm as @amazon-sp-api-release/sp-api-dev-mcp. It ships two servers: a dev assistant with docs search, an endpoint explorer, sp_api_execute, code samples and a migration helper, plus a workflow server.
Where it loses: it is a developer tool. It runs on your machine with Node 20 or newer, and live calls need your SP-API client ID, client secret and refresh token. If you have never registered an SP-API app, this one is not for you.
5. Helium 10 MCP: best for private label keyword data
Helium 10 launched its MCP in July 2026, covering keyword research, ads, rank tracking, profitability and inventory, with support for Claude, Claude Code, Cursor and ChatGPT.
Where it loses: Helium 10's own pages disagree on which plan you need. The launch post says Diamond and the help center says Elite or higher. Confirm with Helium 10 before you upgrade for it. The data leans private label, so arbitrage sellers get less out of it.
6. SmartScout: best for competitive intel
SmartScout markets an MCP for its competitive intelligence data on brands, sellers and categories. If you already pay for SmartScout and want to query it from Claude, it is worth a look. I could not confirm plan requirements or client support from a first-party page, so check with SmartScout directly.
7. Jungle Scout: check before you count on it
Jungle Scout's official MCP is reportedly limited to Cobalt, its enterprise tier. Unofficial community servers exist. Before you hand any community server your login or API key, read its code or skip it.
What to check before you connect any of them
Whichever server you pick, run the same four checks before you click Allow.
- Whose data does it read? Your account, your competitors', a keyword database or API docs. That decides which questions it can answer at all.
- What can it change? Reading data is one thing. Creating campaigns, editing listings or submitting requests is another. Amazon's plugin takes actions with your approval and an audit trail. Arbitrage Stalker's server can save products and manage monitors when you ask, and it cannot touch Seller Central.
- How do you revoke it? You want one place to cut a connection off. On Arbitrage Stalker that is AI Connection Keys, and a revoked connection stops on its next request.
- What does a call cost? Some servers meter by tool call, some by credits, some by API tokens you already pay for. Know before a loop runs fifty calls in one answer.
A community server that asks for your password or a long-lived API key deserves extra suspicion. Read the code first or pass.
How to pick
Start from the question you ask most.
- "What should I buy, and can I sell it?" Arbitrage Stalker.
- "How is my own store doing?" Amazon's Selling Partner plugin.
- "Which campaigns are bleeding?" Amazon Ads MCP Server.
- "How do I call this SP-API endpoint?" SP-API dev MCP.
- "Which keywords should my listing rank for?" Helium 10.
Running two at once works fine. Claude and ChatGPT both let you switch connectors on per chat, so you can keep sourcing in one and your own account data in another. If you want the background on how a seller MCP fits together first, start with the Amazon seller MCP server overview.
The honest summary
Amazon now covers your own account, your ads and your developers. Helium 10 covers private label keywords. The reseller lane, where you source from proven competitors and need eligibility and profit on your account at your cost, is the gap I built Arbitrage Stalker's server for.
Every paid plan includes it, from Scout at $29 a month. Compare plans on the pricing page, read how the Arbitrage Stalker MCP server connects, or create an account and ask Claude what your sellers added overnight.
